“Our weapon is our song”
Ukrainian singers Julik and ZALISKO
Ukrainian singers Julik and ZALISKO recently started a European charity tour, “Victory Concert”, from Warsaw to European cities to raise funds for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In the Polish capital, the artists performed at the Center for Ukrainian War Migrants, where they sang and talked with their compatriots. The creative meeting at the Center for Forced Displaced Persons in Warsaw was organised with the support of “Fundacja Voices from Ukraine”. This is a charity project that aims to support people who had to flee the war and seek protection in EU countries. Before the concert, Julik (Ukrainian showman, author and composer, former member of the band “DZIDZIO”) and ZALISKO (Ukrainian pop-folk pop singer, Honoured Artist of Ukraine) visited the studio of the Polish Radio for Ukraine to thank the Poles for helping the Ukrainian people in times of Russian aggression and war and to present their songs, in particular, new compositions.
